Very busy for a Sunday morning, Many families with kids but we are able to find a comfortable sofa upstairs. Their pour over coffee taste clean and light acidity, nice after taste as well. Many people order breakfast and they look amazing. Good music and good vibe. Will be back again to try the pizza menu.
Great place to go with kids. An open field nearby (not accessible but can see into the distance) and lots of space both inside and out. Excellent pizza and quite reasonable prices for the 14" pizza sizes. It got really busy today and the brunch menu couldn't be served anymore, but not a big issue given all the pizzas were available. There's a garden centre within walking distance too which is a bonus.
Best of the best place! I’m just writing this review since I moved out of the UK about 5 months ago. Whenever I search for a new place in my new home town, I always think of this place and miss it so much lol. Weekends with warm pancakes, brunch, and the most perfect coffees were amazing! The friendly people made it even better. This place is rent-free in my heart. Love you guys! If I ever go back to the UK, I’m definitely stopping by to get my pancakes and pizzAaa
Great cafe and brunch place. The coffee is consistently excellent, as you could expect from a top independent roastery. The atmosphere is tasteful and casual, although it can be difficult to find a table at peak times. The menu is decent, with great food options on the menu.
This place is a real treasure. The coffee is top-tier—smooth, rich, and expertly roasted. But the real surprise? Their pizzas are hands down the best I’ve had in or around Cambridge, better than most Italian restaurants by far. So flavourful! The space is relaxed and full of character, and the team is always friendly and welcoming. And on special days, you might even catch the boss DJing, which just adds to the cool, laid-back vibe. It’s one of those rare places that gets everything right. To those leaving one-star reviews: honestly, it’s baffling. We’re lucky to have a place like this in the middle of the countryside, between small villages. It’s not just a cafe—it’s a destination. Be grateful it exists!
Having visited the city branches many times and despatched on a mission by my daughter, I walked down here from Cambridge. So I was ready for a comfy seat, a strong coffee and a cake by the time I got here and found ... Same great coffee, more choice of food (add pizza ), more space! Really popular too, almost full on a Wednesday lunchtime. Must be doing something right PS: Can especially recommend the cinnamon buns. I'd better go now before I have to get another one
My friend recommended me to try this cafe. I don’t know this place even I have been living in Royston for 2.5 years. There are an variety of hot food and cakes in this cafe. I like the cozy environment. I tried Pork belly egg Benedict and a cup of hot chocolate today. The pork belly was juicy and eggs are so beautiful and taste so good. I liked this hot chocolate because it’s so rich and not too sweet. I will come again with my family : )
Great place to have a quick bite and a drink. Off the grid, nice seating outdoors and indoors, roastery in the house with the smell of coffee intriguing your senses. Everything was cooked very well, with lots of taste and big portions as well. Iced coffee was good and the toilets clean. Service was quick and with a smile!
